Job Description:

Inova Health System has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Lawson Financial Systems Analyst. We are seeking someone with a strong background in the areas of finance, accounting and accounts payable, and with experience in supporting system users from the Information Technology perspective. Payroll, Scheduling and Time and Attendance knowledge a definite plus. Lawson and Kronos Workforce Central application knowledge preferable, but any ERP system experience welcome. Applicants should possess the ability to work well with Lawson system end-users, business owners and management to identify user requirements. Must be able to automate or improve existing business processes through system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling functionality. Able to develop systems solutions for operational problems. Capable of translating business requirements into system requirements in terms of interface and report design, testing and implementation. Strong testing and troubleshooting experience. Must have great documentation skills and the ability to write system instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications. Demonstrated expertise in organizing and conducting meetings, project management.

Lawson Insight - UNIX or Windows NT

Required Skills:

A minimum of 2 – 5 years experience in supporting, developing, analyzing manual and automated systems. The ability to work independently. Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent computer skills – proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite. Experience in progressively responsible assignments in system analysis functions preferred. Education Requirements: Associate's Degree OR equivalent experience
