Job Description:

Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Super User in the field of Lawson Payroll, Human Resources and Benefits and KRONOS. Oversees technology projects include ensuring quality, timeliness and proper use of HR/PR information retrieved from systems, reviewing and prioritizing system maintenance and creating enhancement requests for PR module, ensuring security of PR information through established security protocol, leading project teams for integrations, upgrades, modifications, enhancements, etc., and participating in issue tracking and resolution formulating for all PR systems. Analyze PR processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology; oversees the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedure for the PR module users to ensure efficient business processes. Maintains and updates the Payroll Department's web page on the SharePoint Server. Work closely with the users to gather and document business requirements and apply technology to enhance payroll processes and increase efficiency. Provide first level support to end users of the Lawson and KRONOS systems, acting as a liaison between end users, IT and ACS Support. Support provided will include but is not limited to; troubleshoot issues, problem solving, resolving, reporting and end user training. Ensures accuracy and quality of the data in the PR systems which include analyzing PR information flow through manual and automated processes and performing data audits on a regular basis. Tests results of system updates and changes to ensure data integrity. Works with end users to complete testing of PR systems when necessary and reports on issues and findings. Works closely with Payroll Department to ensure employee information is transmitted to and from Lawson to Kronos via interface files. Responsible for providing training, development of training materials and documentation of processes. Uses appropriate software report writing tools to produce customized and routine reports for department efficiencies and in response to request from users within the Payroll Department and users in other departments.

Required Skills:

Must be a high school graduate 5 years payroll experience with an integrated system and automated time and attendance system Strong working knowledge of payroll taxation Multi-state corporate experience and exposure to a large corporate shared services environment Proven problem solving and decision-making skills for complex problems Solid work experience in the following areas: report writing, querying, data analysis and training Strong Payroll/HR systems background Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with general direction Self-starter; ability to drive changes to promote functional productivity and efficiency. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge in Excel. Must possess strong organizational, time management and written/oral communication skills. Attention to detail is a must.

Desired Skills:
